SPARK and NCVC Advance Ongoing Sustainability Partnership with Planting Initiative at King Salman Energy Park

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), Saudi Arabia – November 2, 2025

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) has reaffirmed its commitment to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC), by launching its Tree Planting Campaign in alignment with the national initiative “A Hand Plants, A Nation Thrives.” The campaign marks the beginning of the planting season across SPARK’s community, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

SPARK and its investors actively participated in the event, planting 500 trees within the city as an initial step in the tree-planting season, during which the total number of trees is expected to reach around 2,000 by the end of the season. The initiative attracted 150 participants and 14 volunteer companies, aiming to enhance green spaces, improve air quality, and contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s overarching environmental goals under Saudi Vision 2030.

This initiative forms part of SPARK’s broader environmental program, which includes the integration of green infrastructure, responsible resource management, and community engagement to support the Kingdom’s vision for a sustainable future.
