SPARK Forum 2025 Highlights Strategic Growth, Investor Enablement, and Infrastructure Expansion

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) successfully hosted the 2025 edition of the annual SPARK Forum, reaffirming its role not just as a world-class industrial hub, but as a strategic enabler and partner to investors driving the future of energy, manufacturing, and logistics in Saudi Arabia.

The forum brought together over 160 participants representing more than 60 local and international companies, serving as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and growth.

Held in the presence of SPARK’s Board of Directors representative and key national enablers, including the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), and Aramco Iktiva, the event emphasized SPARK’s ongoing commitment to supporting Vision 2030 through investment localization and industrial enablement.

As part of the event, SPARK announced the signing of four new lease agreements, welcoming new tenants into its expanding ecosystem. With total investments to date surpassing SAR 12 billion, SPARK continues to attract global and regional players by providing the infrastructure, services, and support systems needed to thrive. These investments are already translating into real impact, with more than 40,000 direct and indirect jobs enabled through current operations and developments, a number expected to surpass 100,000 upon completion of development phases.

Among the key announcements was the upcoming official launch of SPARK’s Dry Port, a major infrastructure milestone operated by SPARK Logistics, a joint venture with Hutchison Ports. Covering a total area of 3 km² and offering an annual handling capacity of 8 million metric tons, the facility is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and streamline logistics across the region.

The official opening of the Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) facility at SPARK was also announced, offering specialized medical care to the entire community. Meanwhile, the Aramco-operated fuel station is nearing completion and is expected to begin operations within the next two months, providing essential services to tenants, employees, and visitors. SPARK also unveiled plans to support faster investor setup through ready-built industrial facilities, catering especially to SMEs and helping tenants localize their Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers.

To promote excellence across workplace culture, operations, and construction, SPARK introduced the EHSS Excellence Award, recognizing outstanding performance in environment, health, safety, and security. As SPARK continues to grow, it remains committed to delivering long-term, sustainable value not only as a destination, but as a true partner and enabler for its tenants and the broader industrial ecosystem.
