King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) celebrates the groundbreaking of Emerson’s new manufacturing hub

Saudi Arabia, 24 January 2023: King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), the leading energy industrial ecosystem and the largest in the MENA region, celebrated the groundbreaking of the new regional manufacturing hub for Emerson, the global technology, software and engineering powerhouse. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Lal Karsanbhai, CEO of Emerson, Vidya Ramnath, President of Emerson Middle East and Africa, and Nabil Chaachou, VP Strategy & Business Development of SPARK. 

Emerson manufacturing hub in SPARK will be completed in 2024 and will manufacture control and safety systems, measurement solutions, control valves, pressure regulators, and industrial solenoid valves. In alignment with SPARK sustainability agenda, the hub will be developed using sustainable construction techniques and technologies to minimize the impact on the environment.

The hub will increase the manufacturing of energy-related products in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the Kingdom’s localization efforts in line with Saudi Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program and the wider Vision 2030.
